It’s not because APC hates religion, but maynard’s (front singer) mother Judith Marie suffered from a stroke which left her partially paralyzed, and because she was a highly religious person she believed even more after her stroke, and maynard thought it was deeply ironic.

I’ve had problems with that phrase too – it seems to be hit or miss. But yeah, Air’s right. Try singing a bit lower than you’d think you should.
