In my opinion these games are the same almost. Rock Band to me is Guitar Hero with a bigger Co-Op mode because I’m sticking with playing the guitar. Sure drums might be fun to try on there but I’d have to learn real drum patterns to get good and I’m not interested in learning how to play drums. Also I don’t care too much for singing either. I always liked guitar better than drums and singing. Also I’ve never really liked Co-OP mode because you can fail a song just because your buddy sucks. For me Guitar Hero III offers more at a basic level because it adds battle mode. What really matters to me is the song list because I can play both games with Guitar. So I guess the real question is which song list looks the most promising right at this point?
Both of these games aren’t cheap and I want to get the best I can get for my money. The better song list gets my money.
